In 2024 Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh launched the Syracuse Hometown Heroes banner program. Hometown Heroes is now underway for its 2nd year in Syracuse!
30” by 60” banners for veterans and active duty military - our Hometown Heroes - will be hung on street lights in the City of Syracuse from Memorial day to just after Veterans Day. The pictures on this page show samples of Syracuse Hometown Heroes banners.
